MOTORBIKE RIDING

Minimum  Age 12 years     Maximum Speed 35km per hour

The farm has always had a motorbike as a form of transport.  Our first guests requested to ride it. We now have a number of motorbikes and we offer bike training and the opportunity to ride on the farm.

Workplace health and safety requires all riders skills to be graded.

The motorbikes we use are Yamaha 100cc agricultural bikes.

4WD Tours
A farm tour is offered during each farm stay. The farm tour is guided in the 4WD tray-back. The farm tour offers the opportunity to discus farming issues and a family member will share knowledge about the farm and nature. Enjoy the scenic views of the farm in a style that is both educational and relaxed.

Extract from guest diary...
Rachel was so excited she just didn't know what to do first. In the end, the decision was made for us as we were taken for our motorcycle lesson. After an hour or so we were finished and it meant that we could ride together to the sunset.

After a very tasty (and large) lunch we had a short swim before Rachel and me went with the  farm owner in the 4WD hunt for scorpions. After this we headed off again on the bikes to see the sunset over the outback. Fantastic - we even got to see the 'roos bouncing across the horizon. The ride back was followed by more eating and a very early night, as we were all exhausted."
