ITINERARY

WHAT WILL WE DO DURING OUR DAY?

The farm stay is very relaxed, however you can do as much or as little as you like. Guests enjoy the informal schedule and the fact that they are staying on a real farm. Here is a rough guide to how you might spend your day.

7.30am BREAKFAST

Gather the horses.

Collect eggs

Saddle your horse and ride.

12.30pm LUNCH

Swim in the pool or have a siesta

Learn to ride a motorbike or go on a farm tour with the 4WD

Learn to lasso or crack a whip or divine for water

Fix a fence or collect firewood

4.00pm AFTERNOON TEA

Hand milk cow.

Walk or ride bike to see the sunset

7.30pm DINNER

Ask Peter to show you the stars

The family, sometimes,raise and release orphaned kangaroos.

DAY TRIP ITINERARY

PICKUP is at 6.30am from Rockhampton from the bus station or accommodation Phone 49981290 to confirm pickup 24hrs prior

ARRIVE at Myella after the 1 1/2hr journey; read the safety information and sign the disclaimer of liability

BREAKFAST consists of cereal, juice, fruit and fresh cows milk. You can also cook on the open camp fire your toast, tea/coffee, or toasted sandwich

HORSE RIDING includes basic training, helmets, riding boots and even the use of old farm clothes.  After your ride you have the opportunity to groom your own horse.

LUNCH is a smorgasbord of various salads i.e. tossed salad plus, lettuce, cheese, corn, tomato, asparagus, beetroot and a hot pasta dish and sliced cold roast/corned beef or ham.

AFTERNOON CHOICES

             Either a 4WD tour, whip cracking and lasso lessons
                                or
             Motorbike lessons and tour ride

AFTERNOON TEA You’ll be back just in time for a quick cupa and a homemade biscuit

MILK A COW by hand milk and collect the eggs

DEPART on the myella Bus departs at 4.30pm

You will leave stiff, sore and dirty but happy!
