Honeymoon Return Relaxing on a holiday in the fresh, country air or the romance of being in the bush under the stars, whatever it may be has certainly created love in the air at Myella Farmstay. Marco and Corinne Peter, from Switzerland, have returned to Australia as honeymooners and for a visit to call upon the Eather Family at Myella, Baralaba. Myella will always hold special memories for Marco and Corinne, as they were both holidaying separately at the Myella Farmstay in May 2003, when by chance they found eather other. Only too keen to find someone speaking their own language it was soon learnt that in Switzerland they lived only 20km apart. Upon continuing their holidays separately they were again reunited and travelled together up to camp your, through to the Kimberley's, and over to Broome. Once again their parted company and met up again in Sydney before returning home to Switzerland in December. They married on April 23 This year in a ceremony which had and distinct Australiana theme. Married in a huge greenhouse they were surrounded by tropical plants, their wedding rings were in a bowl of water with sands and shells to represent our Australian beaches.
Once upon a time there was a young prince. He was living in a bachelor-castle, which was situated near a slowly running river. Each day in the crack of dawn the prince woke up, saddled his agile little hors, called Micra. This animal had a curious looking green fur. He was ridding to one of the biggest treasury houses of the country. Dutifully he shifted the opulence's of his fellow countrymen. Actually the prince could have been happy with his life….. If only there would not have been this melancholy longing nibbling at him to conquer new countries and having new adventures. And who knows…. Perhaps he will meet one or another nice princess which will give him some company for a time. The prince went to the nearest dragon-airport and bought a ticket to the place that was the most far away from his home country. Unfortunately the baggage of the prince was much too heavy… he wanted to be prepared for everything waiting for him on the other side of the world… how should he have known that there was as well on or another little shop where you could buy all you need for life. However the "freshwater" dragon was well swamped with the heavy fright so that he flew into the wrong direction. The poor dragon was very exhausted after some hours and had to take many stops during this journey. The prince was very relieved as he finally could put his feet on the fire red soil on this "alien" continent. At the same time a young traveller found shelter in the hut of friends. This hut was surrounded by nature and situated on a savage island in the south of the red continent. The young woman was exhausted because she was travelling for month through many different countries and met a lot of different cultures. Her biggest whish was to relax for some weeks at her friends place and to work up the impressions of the last months. It wasn’t the first time for her being in this country. The fantastic flora and fauna "put a spell" on her so that she came back from time to time. Each time when the young woman went back home she noticed how much she missed this lovely continent. But sometimes there were moments when she missed to comfort of a "controlled day". She was arrived at this point right now. So she decided to offer her workforce to a farm in the north for some weeks. In the meantime the prince travelled some hounded miles on this continent. He has bought a strong white horse that was not afraid of crossing crocodile – contaminated rivers and to climb huge sand dunes. But once a horseshoe "exploded" on a long journey and the prince had to repair it in the desert. An other time the poor horse had to go to the doctor because it got injured while running on a dirt track. The prince took good care about his loved companion because the good hors took him wherever the prince wanted to go. Even though sometimes it was not that easy to get good food for the horse, the prince always got him something to eat. This was for good reason because the beast would just stay still and would not move anymore when he would not always been fed well. By the way the horse loved to run backwards into big trees…. As diversification to the daily monotone riding trough dusty deserts the prince stayed for some weeks on a farm. For compensation he worked hard all day long. He drove cattle to the butcher, cut down trees, repaired fences and much more. One day a young woman was secret watching him while he was hauling heavy stones. She was smitten with of his courage and strength but dared not to talk to his well looking young guy, because she knew that he was something very special. The prince noticed this young woman as well. What he saw pleased him so much that he took all his courage and introduced him to this beautiful lady. What a coincidence the lady spoke the same language and she was a princess next to his home country. He was so amazed of this woman, that the young prince spent a lot of time with the princess and made her a lot of presents. He took a long troublesome journey to a diamante mine, where he was looking for sapphires, which he could bring back to the princes. The princess was very "ecstatic" that she packed all her belongings on the horse of the prince. From now on they travelled together. They "survived" a lot of dangerous adventures, crossed snake polluted jungles, fought each dawn against bloody vampires and stood eye in eye with enormous up to seven meter long dragons which inhabited the swampy rivers. Nothing could cloud her happiness because the couple felt from the first moment of their encounter a deep connection of their hearts and this filled them with unbelievable strength. Witnesses of this immeasurable great fortune were millions of flies that accompanied the lovers and never let them on their own. The clingy beasts were not frightened of crawling into the ears and nose…. The lovers learned early how romantic it can be to kiss trough a fly net. They began their love in a country far away, under a scorching sun in the middle of dust, cow dung and dangerous beasts. And even though the two had to separate for a short while - the prince had to fulfil his self made order to ride around the newly conquered country, while the princes, tired of travelling, went back home - they met again on the farm. In this country far far away they forged their plan for the future at last the prince took the princess home where they moved together in a castle and got closer and closer. Out of this arose their biggest wish: In the circle of their families and their friends they wanted to set the seal on their wonderful love and say YES to each other no matter what adventures live would have for them. Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
